The Other Person’s Bleach Could Ruin Your Laundry<\/h2>

One common problem is if the person before you uses bleach on their laundry, and then you come along, unsuspecting, and add your load of dark clothes. The result could be unrepairable damage. Remember, most laundromats are to be used at your own risk. So, if this happens, your laundry will be a loss.<\/p>

To avoid this problem, there are two steps that we recommend. One \u2013 Pour a cup of water into the bleach cup on the washer before adding your laundry. Two \u2013 wash your light clothes first. The water will help to dilute the bleach, and the light clothes will be more forgiving if bleach spots do happen.<\/p>

Add bleach to the dispenser and be sure to follow the label’s instructions. Too much bleach will damage the material, and too little won’t get the job done.<\/p>

Chlorine bleach<\/a> is used to sanitize and also to whiten laundry. On the other hand, non-chlorine bleach is safe for most colors, but cannot sanitize. So, if your bright laundry needs stains or odors removed, then Clorox-2 is your best choice.
