Be sure to avoid heat at all costs.<\/p>\n<p>However, if the garment is excessively soiled you can soak it. We recommend turning it inside out and letting it soak for 5 minutes (but not more than 30) in warm water. Then, hand wash gently, rinse in cold water and squeeze (never wring or twist) to remove excess water. Beware, rubbing too hard could cause the fabric to pill. <em>Gentle is the key.<\/em> After pre-treating, hand wash as usual.<\/p>\n<p>Always follow the bottle&#8217;s instructions when using any laundry products. Expert Tip, don&#8217;t wash after every use. If you get a stain on it, between washes, feel free to spot treat it. After wearing, air the garment out for 24 hours before returning it to storage. So, to help prevent moths, you can try to use cedar balls or shavings. When using these, be sure they do not come into contact with the garment.<\/p>\n<p>You can use a small amount of fabric softener for your washes, but when washing for storage, do not use fabric softener.
